Pernyataan Pers Bersama Presiden Republik Indonesia dan Perdana Menteri Republik Ceko

Presiden Republik Indonesia:
Yang saya hormati Perdana Menteri Petr Fiala.

Kunjungan Perdana Menteri Fiala merupakan kunjungan pertama tingkat kepala pemerintahan Ceko ke Indonesia. Para pengusaha Ceko juga hadir dalam kunjungan ini, merefleksikan komitmen untuk membangun dan menguatkan kerja sama. Tadi kami sudah berbicara tentang kerja sama perdagangan, kerja sama investasi, kerja sama pertahanan dan industri strategis, serta tentang ASEAN dan Indo-Pasifik.

Saya juga menyampaikan terkait beberapa regulasi EU (European Union/Uni Eropa) yang diskriminatif dan pentingnya mendorong penyelesaian negosiasi Indonesia-EU CEPA. Kami juga sepakat menjajaki kerja sama joint production antara industri strategis, transfer teknologi, dan capacity building.

Saya juga mengundang Ceko untuk berinvestasi di IKN Nusantara, terutama di bidang transportasi massal ramah lingkungan. Dan terakhir, (berbicara) tentang rencana penyelenggaraan ASEAN Indo-Pacific Infrastructure Forum di bulan September.

Dan sebagai penutup, saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Perdana Menteri Fiala atas pertemuan yang produktif ini. Dan, saya persilakan Yang Mulia Perdana Menteri Fiala untuk menyampaikan pernyataannya. Silakan.

Perdana Menteri Republik Ceko:
Dear, Mr. President,

I am very pleased to visit your beautiful country. Let me congratulate you again on the presidency of the G20 group in 2022, it was very successful. And, I wish you a successful ASEAN presidency this year.

Indonesia is a very important partner for Czechia and the EU. ASEAN countries share the same values with us. Each ASEAN country is different but they are united in diversity. And you work on stability and prosperity of your region, same as the European Union. Our economic cooperation is growing and it is very important now. Our import from Indonesia was USD677 million last year.

Ladies and Gentleman,

With Mr. President today, we discussed our successful cooperation and I believe that we found new areas, new fields, where we can cooperate more. I have representatives of Czech companies here with me. They would like to start or expand their business with partners from your country. Our traditional export to Indonesia is energy sector equipment, medical devices, and aviation products. But we have many other opportunities. We can bring Czech food products to the Indonesian market. We can increase investment in Indonesia.

I am also glad that Indonesia is our strong partner in security and defence. I appreciate that Czech defence companies deliver products to Indonesia, this include the L-410 NG aircraft. We are also interested in modernizing the Indonesian army. I am happy that we already had successful joint venture and technical cooperation. I hope that we can cooperate more in security, defence, and cybersecurity.

As a proof of great cooperation, it was mentioned there will be signed letter of intent on cooperation between Ministry of Transport of our country and also agreement on defence cooperation between Czechia and Indonesia and much more.

We also discussed the project of the new capital city in Kalimantan. The project is really ambitious, I am looking forward to seeing a presentation of it soon. Czech companies have interest in the project, some of them are at this visit with me. They can provide smart and green technologies, for example. Our goal is also deeper cooperation in the protection of environment between our ministries but also on academic, scientific, and business levels.

Dear, Mr. President,

I believe that our meeting will make the connection between our countries stronger. I am looking forward to see you in the future again. Thank you very much, thank you very much.
